Reichstag

The Reichstag Building is so incredible and a very unique building. Visitors are welcome to grow up to the fourth floor and explore the dome and learn about the Reichstag deep history.  At the bottom of the dome, you can go outside and overlook the whole city. Inside the dome, you mourned the center of the dome and can learn about the history of the building. Visitor can also walk up the dome to the very top, and see the city from there. The dome reflects a lot of light and is very bright. In the center, there is a pole filled with mirror. I think there are mirrors to show that people make up the parliament.

The Reichstag has a lot of history tied to it that makes it important to Berlin. First, it is the parliament building which makes up the government. It took ten years to builds. In 1933, the building was lit on fire and most of the building was ruined. Hilter use the fire to put a bad light on communist and strengthen his party. Hitler never really liked the meaning of the buuilding so during his time as a leader, he never used the building. The building was instead use as a hospitals during World War Two and use as an exhibition during the Cold War.

I think the Reichstag building contribute a lot to Berlin status as cultural capital by holding a lot of history and being a building that represent Berlin government. The Reichstag is Berlin Parliament building is where laws and the structure of the government is created in. This building has been through a lot and intimated  Hilter so much that he didn't't bother using it after the fire. The building does a great job as showing that the citizen and people are a huge part of Germany government and they contribute to Berlin status as a cultural capital. Berlin wouldn't be a city without its people.
